It appears to use the same hardware as inexpensive cameras sold in China. At least the casing is identical. Most likely, the internal board is also the same, with only the device ID changed for identification.

Although it is advertised as 1080p, the image quality strongly suggests that the sensor itself has a lower resolution, and only the recording is upscaled to 1080p. Since HDR is not effective, highlights are often blown out, and colors fade in bright conditions. The frame rate is low, and many frames in the recorded video appear distorted.

It worked with the DoFun Rec app, but not with the DoFun Rec Pro app. After completing ADAS calibration, the DoFun Rec screen shows AR overlays of vehicles ahead and lane markings. In the D3D View, vehicles in front are also displayed as car-shaped objects. However, it does not distinguish between vehicles traveling in the same direction and oncoming traffic—all vehicles are shown as rear views. When you drift out of your lane, something like a wall appears.

The visuals shown in D3D View are not typical AR, but seem to imitate next-generation SR ADAS. This could potentially compete with the SR ADAS systems provided by recent head unit manufacturers. However, you should not expect much from the current D3D View implementation. It is still very primitive. While future updates may improve it, a much higher-quality camera than this one would likely be required.

The warning voice may be available in many languages. It even included voice alerts in my native language. However, the translations are poor, so I would rather not hear them.

I have purchased more than six inexpensive Chinese USB dashcams so far. Their AR ADAS software is essentially the same across all of them, but this camera performs the worst in recognizing oncoming vehicles due to its low frame rate. Even if an oncoming car is visible for several seconds, it is only recognized for a brief moment. In fact, it detects only about one out of every several vehicles. Lane detection is on the same level as other Chinese USB dashcams combined with AR ADAS apps.

Unfortunately it doesn't work properly, it stops recording when you start the car, if you have activated voice commands it activates or deactivates without giving it any voice command. It loads slowly when it works with the D3D app, when it sees the car in front and when it doesn't. It has many bugs but the idea is good and the intention, if you manage to optimize them properly it is a good thing.
